Dec 13, 2013 - Microcode Update for HP 786F BIOS Family Computers with Intel. Mix HP Compaq dc7800 Small Form Factor PC Drivers Download. Solved: Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me with a recommended driver for PCI Serial Port, for a HP DC7800P SFF computer running 'Windows 10 - 5579619.
The problem: This computer has an internal speaker that is more than a POST beeper. How do I know this? We have a computer lab full of these at my high school, only lower end, and when I got this computer, it had the HP sound driver program, made by SoundMAX, and it is the same program on HP's site, that is under the driver selection of 'sound' for this system.
Now, when I download the program's installer(from HP), it starts up, starts to install, then throws up a message and tells me that it is not compatible with my system, then closes. Why did you uninstall the drivers when you got the system?, you might ask, well, On startup, a message would pop up saying that the SoundMAX utility didn't start correctly, and might need to be reinstalled, which I tried to do, 5 times, with the same result. As a side note, I cannot get sound out of the front or back headphone jacks.
SoundMAX Error The Driver that I downloaded Any input would be helpful. Thank you in advance. We have thousands of these at my work and its a common issue I usually resolve with just removing the device ('devcon remove HDAUDIO.' or device manager) and rebooting. Thanks for the reply!!!!, to be clear, remove HDAUDIO from Device Manager, or do I type 'devcon remove HDAUDIO' into the command prompt? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
I know hardware(most of the time), if it's software related, I don't know crap. EDIT: I do not have a device called HDAUDIO int the Device Manager. Am I missing something?
I have setup a task sequence to install 4 different driver for the HP dc7800 Workstation. I've followed this guide: step by step and for some reason it will by-pass installing these four drivers. Here are the drivers I'm trying to install: Audio Drivers Ver 6.10.7255sp45615 Intel Active Client Manager HECI Devicev3.2.20.1046sp46137 Intel AMT LMS SOL for AMT 3.0 Ver 5.4.1.1051sp46134 NVIDIA Graphics Driver Ver 8.sp48413 I've downloaded all four of the drivers from the HP site, and I have extracted the files. I have created four separate folders with the extracted files, and followed the guide above to set all four of them up.
I can get the dc7800 workstation to image, but these particular drivers for whatever reason won't install in my Task Sequence. All four of the 'Readme' file says you can use the silent install by using the 'setup.exe -s'.
I've got all four of the drivers setup with a WMI Querey which is: SELECT. FROM Win32ComputerSystem WHERE Model LIKE '% HP Compaq dc7800 Small Form Factor%'. It almost seems like it skips over installing these four drivers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
